Problem: The fuse for the temperature and fuel gauges keeps blowing, the gauges seem to work for the few minutes the fuse holds.
The wiring looks OK but do these gauges get their juice from a voltage limiter? If so, where is it, what does it look like, etc?

Any help most appreciated...

I dont think there is but will have a look at the wiring diagram tomorrow for you. Will also have a think about what else it might be thats causing it.

Hi voltage limiter is behind either fuel or temp gauge on MK1. It is mounted on gauge bracket. It looks like this:

And also I really dont think VR could blow fuse....IIRC this same fuse also powers windshield and headlamp washers... so these should be checked also...

I think the MK2 is just blower switch and the two gauges...  but following all this up...
