Re:rad Date Posted:07/02/2012 04:39:54Copy HTML was that with Boston Radiators Clive?
the one in my J-reg was thicker than the ones in my earlier Mk2's and cost £215 to refurb thru Boston Rads, due to the core being less widely used (and involving more material etc.) but they were nice to deal with, quick turnaround and quality of work looks top notch - was gonna post in handy contacts section but wanted to put it to the test first - so far so good :) it seemed like a good idea at the time

Re:rad Date Posted:09/02/2012 12:07:28Copy HTML ah ok
think the core in mine was refered to as a 4-core? (and the other narrower ones 3-core?) - I know when it came back it was slightly thicker than when it went off, which is all good yeah, it's cold enough and yeah, my heater is weak too - cab is taller but not as deep as yours - big screen to radiate any heat I do generate quick enough! (and that's without the padding on the inside of the engine cover too) blower is weak (still only got one speed - should have 2 judging by 3-position switch) despite running brand new motor havn't had much of a misting problem yet tho, so well down to-do list at present it seemed like a good idea at the time
