Anyone ever lined rb arches to keep the rust away looking on some advice for best way

 Not on an RB but on my bus, I lined them with ali sheeting 1.5mm thick, i tac welded some steel mounting plates that were about 35mm x 60mm cut from 2mm steel sheet around the wheelarch and pop riveted the ali sheeting on to them (cutting, manipulating the sheeting to fit as i went) then when happy with it I covered it in carbon fiber sheeting (I had been given a load so wanted to use some), then painted over with that black gunky undearseal stuff, did the job a good un.
