Renault Trucks (owned by Volvo) are shutting the door on the 50 & 100 series totally, they have already started skipping...yes skipping the spares they hold in stock at the main warehouse, there is a meeting tomorrow where the UK head office parts people are going to try to get the head honchoes to pass on the rest to me but it looks like this will just get shot down. If they cant make a profit on it then just throw it away is their stance. I posted this on the facebook group too here "Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws."

Re：Renault to trash all new spare parts Date Posted：26/01/2012 10:27:36Copy HTML can understand the decision (from a business perspective) that sales may not justify the space usage but if the company is looking at paying for the disposal, surely a few of us could step in, move the stock (quickly and hassle-free) and therefore save the parts and the company some costs?
where is the main warehouse geographically? we would need to get over there with transport and without delay ... it seemed like a good idea at the time
