Date Posted:09/05/2014 04:39:38Copy HTML Hi Greg, mum and all you fellow Dodgers, Just thought I would let you know, my Commando 100 which has been stood since 2009, came back from the dead last weekend and is now running fine. I found a steering box after two years of looking and now it's as good as new. People said it would never move again, but a jump start from another lorry and about 6 cranks she started up, I was amazed - the brakes weren't even stuck on. Although that said, we had to use a tractor to free the clutch from the flywheel - it had rocked back in gear when last parked up in 2009. hope you are all fighting fit and looking forward to some warm sunny weather, Cheers Gary Needs a good clean and polish now, and an MOT!!!! :-) |
