Re:Hello guys Date Posted:16/12/2013 08:23:50Copy HTML nice - feel free to post more photos!
some nice touches - like the twin tube lighting support behind cab what are the eyes for on top of bumper? leftovers from it's military days? would imagine you have to try hard to get the arse end to sit down Clive will, I feel, be ever so slightly jealous when he sees this it seemed like a good idea at the time

Re:Hello guys Date Posted:18/12/2013 07:25:19Copy HTML how much can you tow with that ? - looks a little overkill to tow a little citröen van
but its so nice to see a refurb of this quality. If something works, celebrate with tea and cakes...
If it dosent, have tea and cakes anyway.

Re:Hello guys Date Posted:18/12/2013 05:50:40Copy HTML overkill ... I wouldn't have said so - it's probably no more expensive to run than the Iveco or Merc and easier in tight spaces or busy places - looks a lot more up for the job than a lot of the recovery vehicles of that size around these days, especially with winter approaching
it seemed like a good idea at the time

Re:Hello guys Date Posted:28/01/2014 09:55:41Copy HTML The eyes on bumper are from army days chugg. I believe snow plough attachment etc was available from a local T.A. source. I'll get list up soon of work carried out on it. The fiat on the back was my own van I was taking back home from work as the rb was going home with me too. 2 vehicles at work 1butt to drive with, hence tow one back lol. The rb has already proved her worth with field and ditch work. Has pulled a Merc 313 fully (over) loaded van from a local muddy field with ease. several other cars, vans extracted from ditches, woodland without a hiccup. No sitting at side of the road and spooling winches. Just drive in strap up and outahere........
