Date Posted:12/01/2012 05:09:29Copy HTML Hi all. Firstly, Brilliant site, very helpful.
I am the proud owner of this Dodge G13. I bought the truck nearly a year ago and she's done me proud apart from the clutch slave cylinder and a few leaks (exhaust, oil and water). I now have the opportunity to get her on the ramps in my mates workshop for the weekend to sort out the leaks and give her a pre MOT (actually quite scared about the MOT). I've been having some difficulty trying to get a set of exhaust gaskets for it using just the Chassis No. Can anyone tell me exactly what engine I have in it and any idea's as to where I can get the gaskets from. Also is there anything in particular I should look out for on the MOT?? Any spares I should really think about keeping on board. e.g The replacement seal kit for the clutch slave cylinder was a few quid. What I would've done to have a spare at 8:30am in bristol broken down on a corner of a T junction facing up hill!!! The Chassis No is SDEG13A00AD706044 Thanks Tom |

Re:General help and info wanted Date Posted:14/01/2012 07:24:30Copy HTML Hi there
I don't know too much about the 100 / commando series but I can find out which engine it has from the chassis number, I will see what else I can find out for you. Nice looking truck you got there "Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws."

Re:General help and info wanted Date Posted:15/01/2012 05:49:24Copy HTML Hi Karrier
Yeah she's a good truck to be fair. Planning to paint it and in the process of reconverting it. Should be a nice truck when it's finished. That would be great if you could find that out for me, would be much appreciated. Thanks
