Date Posted:11/05/2013 09:05:17Copy HTML Well finally the task has been completed, thanks to all who gave input.
The Wife's horsebox (still yet to be named), which suffered an injector pump leak between the cast and alloy parts of the pump is now all back and up n running. The injector pump (Bosch) on a 4 pot perkins phaser was a pain, but after making a suitable robust tool finally decided it would come out to be fixed (£180 refurb at local fuel injection specialists) was then refitted. One full service later including cracked exhaust manifold, (re- welded by a local vintage car specialist!), burnt gaskets (thanks Greg), tappet clearances sorted (wide enough that the horse could have walked through them), filters, oil, coolant etc and finally a set of wiper blades and all is running sweet as a nut. Hope I can be able to provide some help to those who suffer a similar series of issues, once again thanks to all. Al |

Glad the gaskets did the job, now you should have a sweet running truck.
