I own a 1987/88 Renault Dodge 100 commando G08 7.5 Ton Fire Engine. (pump ladder) I am having probs with the charging cct I have a lucus AC5 alternator with a seperate Regulator. I know the alternator is oK its been tested so I now suspect the regulator, but I will be blowed if I can find the little blitter, I've got one on order but thats no good if I can't find it in the truck, the workshop manual tells me how it works and how to test it but not where to find it!!!!! anyone got any ideas? ohh and its a 12volt system to so thats a bit strange to and annoying as most fire engine pastr are 24volts. thanks all for reading cheers, Dave |
