Need to source a decent clutch master seal kit for S66, have already replaced it once with a patten part and have had trouble ever since with losing clutch pedal with no notice needing either a lot of pumping which will sometimes restore it for a few more miles, or rebleeding. Now losing patience with the thing. So looking for an original (presume Girling or Lockheed) spec seal set in the hope that might fix it.

 Hi

You can't get the original seals anymore, you might find that if it is leaking not long after fitting a replacement, that the bore in the cylinder is on its way out, it only needs a couple of very small pits and they will score the seal and , it will leak.

You may well need it reconditioned, they are not available new anymore (unless you are lucky to find one old stock) the other thing to watch is leaking from the bleed nipple, I have had this problem and I had to replace the nipple to stop the leak, no amount of cleaning the threads would work, replaced it and problem solved.

I have old bodies if you need one to send off for reconing so you don't have to remove yours untill you have a replacement, then send me your old one back, let me know if you want to go that way, 07778643304

The bore looks very clean, so hopefully not that. Seems to just lose pedal totally with almost no gradual fading, sometimes can be recovered with a lot of pumping, other times have to bleed it & it's OK for a while. It had a new seal kit a while ago but has since had this problem. So not sure what the issue is, had a new clutch a while ago and had master and slave resealed as the slave leaked. Maybe should've left the master alone!!! So going to try another seal kit. I did see the post about mini seal kits fitting, so will try one of those.
Thanks
