Re:Camper Insurance Date Posted:04/05/2006 08:51:10Copy HTML Try Co-op Insurance (greg, the site builder turned me on to them) 08457 464646. The trick is to say it's either a Dodge/Renault Motorhome/Camper, but importantly ...an " S35-90 " Model, as they definitely have that model on their books. Do not say it's a bus. I've got 9 points and my fully comp insurance (with fully euro recovery) is ?390. Good luck. Celtic Warriors.

Re:Camper Insurance Date Posted:16/07/2007 11:12:07Copy HTML Im getting shafted by Adrian but i have a DR10 which no one likes. CIS not want to insure me. Am stil paying around ?900 fully comp. Then i realised my European cover only covers me for 31 consecutive days with a max of 60 away or something lame...The Flux website however has been updated (those extortionate premiums means more savvy web designer?) and it now hosts a NEWS tab which when viewed gives a link to HIC insurance who are claiming to be the travellers choice of insurer....They do a Walkabout policy covering vehicles throughout the EEC and email the documents to you, you may not even need an address? - also very useful when on the road.
This is what they say. I have not yet telephoned to investigate. |

he saw the bus and just said well it is different but tis a motorhome so tis ok. i said it was a tourbus and still classed as a bus, plg tax even though over 3.5 tonne. points of law me friends. Re:Camper Insurance Date Posted:06/06/2008 11:55:07Copy HTML I've just been on to CIS and although people who are already insured with them are still ok, they will no longer insure any vehicle with more than a 2.5 litre engine. Bum.

Re:Camper Insurance Date Posted:28/11/2008 09:54:16Copy HTML cis will still do renault motorhome over 2000cc and also if you say renault s35-90 it will still go through even though engine is 3990cc, this is because it is on their system, timberdog got it this way only a couple of months ago.
