Re:2014 dodge 50 / 100 and RB44 owners and Lovers Meet Up Date Posted:14/09/2014 07:44:48Copy HTML Hi Greg,
When and where is the meet going to take place please. I have been checking on the forum and not seen anything yet. I won't use Facebook, coz the Government is their biggest viewer! It is a couple of months since i sent my donation. How is the idea going please? I have to know soon, to be able to plan my route. I've been touring the Sth Coast for a month or so, now come back home to an overgrown log cabin in Shropshire, to get ready to drive up to Yorkshire for your doo. Kind regards, Rick (user: g3sr) |

Re:2014 dodge 50 / 100 and RB44 owners and Lovers Meet Up Date Posted:15/09/2014 09:40:52Copy HTML Oh Greg,
I am SO sorry 4u - and of course for the rest of you enthusiastic members. I know u must have put a lot of effort into trying to arrange this event. I used to help organise a couple of music festivals many years ago (not played for over 12 years though), and outsiders have no idea how much time & effort the organisers go to 4them. Such a shame 4me too, coz i assembled the big heavy cherry picker i bought, onto my Dodge a few weeks ago, and got it back home to Shropshire last week. I was hoping to acquire some parts, and a lot of chat & info from the guys at the meet - even tho i wouldn't have been there in my Dodge (a 66 4x4 of 1984 vintage i think?) this year. It's got a slant6 petrol engine with a noisy manifold, but it's "on the button" every time. I may sell it when i've pruned my trees with it, or alternatively remove the cherry picker machine and put a "housetruck" body on the 4x4 Dodge tatty chassis cab. Thanks for the sad info re the cancellation m8. I look forward to the refund whenever u have time, and will keep my eyes open on the forum for any news of another event (wherever u may like to hold it). I never use Facebook for anything, coz big brother (inc his m8 de taxman) gets most of his info on people from there, so please keep your excellent forum going. I see a few people have already commented how it is lagging behind your FB site, but please don't ignore it (peeps & viewers) coz this is a GREAT useful forum that Greg has built. Keep up the good work Greg, i look forward to meeting you face2face in the near future. Best regards, g3sr (Rick) |
