Re:oil filter battery type Date Posted:24/01/2009 11:45:40Copy HTML Oil Filter on a phaser Fram PH977A is what I use available at any decent motor factors OR A Crossland 532 If these makes are not available you can cross reference these numbers Batteries , Both phasers I have had used twin 750 AH 12V But some have a single 128 AH 12V |

Re:oil filter battery type Date Posted:30/03/2009 12:53:42Copy HTML Hmm My Phaser has a PH2821A oil filter fitted to it - which is nearly 1.7 inches shorter than the PH977A.... i wonder if this wrong and could be contributing to an oil leak? i was just about to clean up the oil pressure relief valve... interesting jfb. ta |

Re:oil filter battery type Date Posted:31/03/2009 11:02:28Copy HTML The PH977A is for the MOD RB44 (110 Phaser Same engine) Just a bit bigger to allow for more extreme conditions.
I was specified with the Crossland 532 for my S 46 van with same phaser engine which is actually smaller as you describe. SO I guess the fram you list may be a cross reference of the #532. As a matter of fact I fitted my last 532 0n my RB44 last oil change and its covered 2,000 miles in the last 20 days ,I now have the fram PH977a`s left for my future services which I carry out every 4,000 using Shell 15-40 sae Diesel type or Tractor grade oil. Keep the cogs oiled fella ! ![]() |
