Date Posted：07/08/2012 02:31:37Copy HTML Hello all , I am in the process of converting my ex mod s56 coms van into a motor home,but as of yet can not find engine mountings anywhere. I was hoping that someone somewhere has had simular problems and has found a solution. i have phoned and emailed all leads i can find on the interweb to no avail,and have also phoned some breakers in the states still with little succsess .
If anyone can shed some light on this or has a set tucked away i would be very greatfull of any help. The van is a 56s panel van with the slant six lump in , all body work and chasie is sound the only things i need to get it back on the road are, spare wheel and tyre 8r 17.5 rocker cover gasket set of engine mounts x 3 vin number is sdgb56k0bfd212245 I have looked at finding simila rmountings off another truck\van to adapt to fit mine , has anyone done anything like this in the past, mine is the mk1 so was wondering if the mk2 mounts off the diesel engines are Similer !!!! once again thanks in advance for any help or info . my mobile number is 07980819249 email ; jhallplumbing@hotmail.co.uk |
