First thanks a lot Greg; now you can have a place for all my ranting on this subject and a fat lot of my worthless American dollars - LOL!

I'll post what I know as a fairly experienced alt. fuels user but that's why it helps to see the answers to the poll to determine what people would want to run. To be honest I must say that I'm driving the Dodge TD50 that was made by Mitsu in Japan and sold in the states. The reason I joined up here after being a long time Biodiesel SVO community forum member is because I have a lot of faith in my engine being as reliable as the ones running in your UK D50 trucks and similarly believe that you could have as much success running alternative fuels.

Here are some other vital links:

Definitve resource for Biodiesel

Gathering WVO

In the states we have some very stringent laws concerning the collection of waste oil (WVO) and that last link should be read and updated to UK standards if anyone has knowledge there. Also know that not using WVO is not even a legitimate cleaner alternative fuel. I've discussed this further on my little piece of the web
