Hi
A few weeks ago I posted about a 50 mk1 van I was looking into buying. The van will be used as a food truck.

I've since gone to see it twice, once with my mechanic. He told me that the engine, chassis and suspension is all in good condition. Inside doesn't look great but it will be gutted anyway.

The only issue we can find is with the brakes. Simply put, they don't work, apart from the front left. Mechanic reckons it is the master cylinder. Any thoughts on this? I know I can fit a Land Rover cylinder on it, but should I be looking into re-lining and refurbing as well?

And can an S46 be downrated to an S35?

Thanks and heres the picture I promised (notice the grill is not original). The van also comes with 2 spare tires, a spare rim and a spare steering box.
