http://www.truckfixclutches.com/ they supplied me with a *properly* rebuilt 310mm pressure & friction plate (new fingers & hub, new release bearing) when no one else would/could JDS usually answer and try to help it seemed like a good idea at the time

Re：Need clutch plate, cover, release bearing etc for S66 Date Posted：17/06/2012 11:06:41Copy HTML havn't got on so well with Past Parts more recently - was mis-quoted on price - ended up paying around £115 to have a friction plate re-lined - came back with the worn hub (play in relation to gearbox input shaft) - the set-up seems to burn money like old newspaper - you send your part to them, they send it on to the people who do the work, back to PP and finally back to you - loads of courier charges - minimal work - big bill
Truckfix presumably do the work in-house - complete rebuilt kit - new fingers on pressure plate, new hub and lining on friction plate, new release bearing and all for about £150 delivered, give or take, IIRC - a slick and professional service (supplied on an exchange basis - you can send your old units back after fitting the replacements) - they get my vote :) it seemed like a good idea at the time

Re：Need clutch plate, cover, release bearing etc for S66 Date Posted：18/06/2012 12:22:22Copy HTML the 280mm clutch parts seem reasonably plentiful - the 310mm turbo-engine clutches anything but - I drew a lot of blanks before trying Truckfix from an ad in the back of CVC mag - guess it's just trying the right people - seems with anything Perkins related you are better off forgetting it's in a Dodge although when I stopped off at Lancing Marine, their drive-plates looked a little different!
