My main one is my Red and Yellow Circus Dodge 50 HYF 929W, s46 4 cylinder, no turbo or phaser, the next is a gorgeous ex-Library bus D41 XRT s46 (I think - it has the round headlights) 6 cylinder Japanese build, and the 3rd is a mini bus, (again round headlights) but is stripped of many parts now.. and will be scrapped once all goodness has been removed! (again I will look up the Reg when I next get out to the yard). Being based in Brighton there are at least another 8 I know of, a red and black one, a silver one, a red 100 series, a black and red ex library, and there's definitely a green one, a red, grey and black one, a short wheelbase blue one, and a white 100 series in use by a forestry group. Another one has also recently turned up in the yard.. a friend is looking for interest at the coming dodge do, but I may grab it if no-one else goes for it as I need an engine for my white one - anyone know if 4 cylinders will fit into 6 cylinder spaces? Re：NEW BUS DATABASE Date Posted：07/05/2009 09:15:34Copy HTML Hi Duff You can fit a 4 cyl into a 6 cyl space, the engine mounting holes in the chassies are already there as they are different on the 6 cyl but you will need to use a gearbox that is designed for the new engine (well this depends on what gearbox you already have as you might be lucky there) and also will have to change the front part of the prop for a longer one you will most likely need a 64 1/2 inch front piece (but you will need to measure this up) need more info, just ask. Just joined in the forum. I have a Dodge 50 bus that was registered in 92. I have not seen another one like it in any pictures so you will probably know more about it than I do. It was a 16 seater that was owned by a home for the disabled in Devon. It has a fibreglass body which is why I wanted it. I have converted it to a motorhome and have had great fun living in it in Southern Spain. Back in Cornwall now but returning to Spain soon in the old girl.....gonna see if I can post a picture but don't know how |

I got your email and was about to post the pic up....and low and behold here it is. Yes you don't see many dodge 50's with that body fitted, does it say anywhere who the body builders were?
