Hi all,
No dodge come my way but got given a 1994  VW lt35 thats sat on a side of a mountain about 1000 ft up for the last 5yrs by some friends
Co-incidental really as I just said right thats it no more motors and "hey milly long time no see, just getting rid of lt and thought of you".

So there you have it. Top end they just had rebuild before getting the idea to go smaller. So drove it home 2 miles down hill very gingerly at first Ffarmers mountain rd. very steep not place for brakes to fade or pop ,still good handbrake. 8 miles later plodding on flat near Cellan pulled up at home and brakes fadded one hot rear wheel cylinder stuck so let coool had brakes in morning. Put on ebay for export many muppets bid many muppets did not turn up after a few relistings decided to see what scrap price was and that had dropped so the gods that be had ordained me to keep the bugger
I paid a welder who quoted 480 max to weld, he ended up charging 300 in the end and his rate is good at 10 hr, dont find many at that price these days who turn up and do what they say and when once I got it to ther barn.
So I now have found a cheap mechanic till he gets miffed earning bugger all and the crap work what others charge the earth for ( bit like me when I could do motors).
Anyhow I digress. I took to garage over road from me borrowed the rollling road and front brakes upto mot standard and I now only have the rear wheek cylinder to put on I bought recently when fit or get the mechanic man to do it
I include pics if they come up, and they have but spreads wordage all over place lol
regards
