dunno if i'm the only one but have struggled to find a decent locking cap for my Mk2 vans, until I got hold of one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200615306889

works a treat and nice construction too (although have heard some models have a different size neck - my only experience is of Mk2 vans)

if that link dies with time, ebay seller is bbclassiccars (St.Albans, Herts) seems to have a good stock at time of posting

(the lip of my neck is a bit mangled as have previously fought to line up retaining screws when refitting neck to body - if your lip is nice and straight, you might have to notch it or bend it slightly to allow the locking tab to slide under)

Edited to make the link a working link.
it seemed like a good idea at the time

sweet - better than the originals with the black plastic top that separates from the metal cap anyway, even if I have to take the key off bunch to get the bugger unlocked - crazy angle (horizontal) really, when recessed in body!

btw, hardcore as in easy mo cut n run 91 style?

oh yes :)

and everything that came before and a lot of what came after, come to think of it!

'91 one hell of a year for raw underground sounds - genasideII narra mine, IIexodus silence to exodus, mind of kane let the bass kick, noise factory boxbass, the hypnotist the ride, sl2 the noise, nebulaII seance, virtual reality make some noise, invisible men self indulge, cosmo&dibs star eyes, altern8 infiltrate202, shiet, could go on all night and then there's the euro stuff!
