I did remove a towbar bracket a few years ago and that was about when I last saw it - might still be knocking about somewhere as don't recall rehoming it but there wasn't much to it - two pieces of inch box section that ran diagonally down from plates that bolted to the outside of the chassis rails is all I recall - will have a root for it over next few days and pop a photo up if I can find it - might do the job but then again you might want something a bit more clumsy-reversing-friendly for those dark nights in Tescos car park ;-)

it seemed like a good idea at the time

i'm soon going to have one made for mine.

orignially there was one fitted, however when it was converted to become a horse box the body builders removed it.

as soon as i check with the mot station about some of the specifics, the mechnic at work will make me one from the metal hes got laying around, then i just need to sort out a tow ball and if all is ok with the mot'er a dropper plate.

Hello from me too I've just drilled two holes in the rear chassis end cross member after welding it a bit then popped on a Dixon bate drop plate and put a stay on each side of the drop plate to the chassis.

On my first dodge which was a van it had a rear step which i cut some of the step away and drilled two holes in the steps cross member and popped on a ball hitch, i am just about to take it off that van and put on my workshop luton truck, it just bolts to the chassis, will take a picture when i take it off .
