Hi folks...
Have'nt been around in a while..but had'nt forgotten about site..! Probably on a hiding to nothing on this one but you don't know till you ask..!

We're on the lookout for a replacement RB-75 or lengthened RB-44 to replace our current 'off-road-&-not-likely-to-get-back-on-it' twincab '75 4x4.

This venerable truck has done over 200k miles, much of it in service for MEB, before coming to the Falklands & going through two other owners before us.
She has proved stalwart & reliable, but the ravages of 20 years living un-garaged before we got it, has taken its toll on all the usual tinwork, brake systems & other odd bits, not to mention the mileage aspect.
(Its currently 'dead', while we figure out how to extract the starter motor from between the block & chassis... No wonder'...it would'nt start...'..!!)  A major overhaul is seriously needed & beyond our time & other farm work committments.

So.... we're interested in finding a decent replacement that does'nt need a fortune & a year to get it operational; basically, a tidy, mechanically-sound 4x4, turbo, manual (as it would have to do towing), doesn't HAVE to be a twincab, or have a rear body, ( we have a 10' deck on ours which could easily be extended to fit a single-cab, & would be willing to negociate a good price for a good vehicle..

UK payements NOT a problem.. Can give ebay username ( to check feedback) to anyone who needs references, if anything is of interest...

Contact me through the board messages please, if you think you can help or know of anything going, or coming up,
......or direct at 'holden186s 'at' hotmail.com' ( don't miss the 's' after '186'..!!)

Thanks in advance for any info

 Nick
