the white wheels, hubs and drums look smart

are there any other 50's over there and what experiences have you had finding mechanical parts?

i live in france, and it's very difficult to find some parts, i have a big problem on the front brake, and i think i'm going to put a renault B80's front axle, with disc. i know that solution is radical, but i've no choice : with a car on the truck, you must have good brake!!!!

difficult here too

not familiar with the B80 but hopefully it should be fairly straightforward to fit a disc-braked '50 axle - only thing that springs to mind if using an axle from a Mk2 is possibility of larger ball-joints when connecting axle to steering, Greg will know more ...

happened accross an image of a B80/110 this morning, amongst some interesting shots of various other Renault-related vehicles on this site http://www.renaultoloog.nl/trucks-english.htm, having initially randomly spotted the rather fetching yellow/white 4x4 on ebay (the joys of the internet ...)

maybe, dunno (but at least I don't know the last of the summer wine characters ;)

4wd has 6-studs, it's the photo of the RWD Luton that looks like it only has 5, but if it's twin-wheel, it must have 6 surely? - perhaps I do need glasses ...

my mistake :), without the cab overhang it aint a Luton - box van

maybe other versions have 6 studs or maybe it's not a B80 at all - there were a couple of Mk2 '50's on that site labelled as 1983?!
