HI ALL HAVE 7 1/2 TONNER WHICH I AM NOT SURE IF IT COMES UNDER SPECIAL TYPES OR NOT .
IT CARRIES MY CRAZY BIKES  AND CIRCUS EQUIP TO EVENTS AND MY OTHER TRUCK USE TO COME UNDER DUAL PURPOSE AS IT HAD A LIVE IN BIT BUT NOT SURE IF THIS  IS MOT EXEMPT OR NOT

 You need to use the v112g goods vehicle plate exemption form when you tax the vehicle, use that instead of an mot.


You can do at a post office when you tax the vehicle, you just need to be confident as they might not have done one before.

Either as a dual purpose or a works truck (though dual P is the better bet) though you dont actually have to say what the vehicle is, you just sign the declaration that the vehicle falls under one of the categories on the reverse of the form, see the link above, it gives you that list.
